System Requirements

These are the specifications as of the date of publication. As RJM continues to improve its SONIS line, product specifications and requirements may change. Call RJM for the latest specifications.

Administrators

Those using the administrative functions must follow these standards:

• A computer display set to at least 1024 by 768 and 256 or more colors. More is better since the administrator's Web pages are dense and full of information.
• Internet Explorer 6.0 (or later) or Firefox2 Web browser.
• A computer capable of supporting the browser and the network selected.
• Connection to the server either by a local area network (LAN) or the Internet.

Users

Faculty, students, "alums":

• A Web browser (see above), a computer capable of supporting it and a connection to the server either by the Internet or a local area network (LAN). For staff who frequently access SONISWEB®, a computer display that can show the whole page width without scrolling is the most productive.

Server

• ColdFusion 8 Standard version (see http://www.adobe.com/).
• Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 Standard version.
• Microsoft's IIS Web server software.
• Connection to the network of users.
• A server capable of supporting this software and your expected user load.
