Billing and Financial Aid
Billing:
SONISWEB can share data with many of the more popular accounting packages such as Microsoft Dynamics, MIP, ACCPAC, QuickBooks as well as other applications. With SONISWEB, students can print their bills, send checks and pay by credit card through secured merchant services like PayPal, Nelnet, and TMS.
Financial Aid:
The Financial Aid feature of the system can determine the eligibility of students for awards such as Pell Awards, Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, school-generated scholarships and others. The awards are determined based on a student's projected enrollment, and adjustments can be made against these various awards. Students can then accept or reject awards using SONISWEB's student portal.
SONISWEB can import from outside sources and contains links to the following:
- ED Express
- Sallie Mae
- Elm
- Powerfaids
- EDConnect
- TMS
These links allow for easy importation and processing of packaged awards or payments.
Government Tax Forms:
SONISWEB® can create the US IRS 1098T's and the Canadian T2202a and T4 tax forms. If necessary, administrators can reprint and modify the forms. These forms are made accessible to students, and if mandated, viewed through the student portal.
