About RJM RJM Systems, Inc.
Founded in 1993, RJM Systems, Inc. is a software company that designs
state-of-the-art systems to meet the administrative needs of small to
medium size colleges and universities. We provide schools with integrated
services for admissions, registration, grading, billing, course management,
and other administrative functions, as well as providing online access for
students, alumni, faculty/advisors, prospective students and applicants.
Our flagship product is SONISWEB, a fully Web-based system that allows users
to access it via the Internet from anywhere in the world.
We have offices in Southbury, CT and Chapel Hill, NC and serve more
than 90+ colleges and universities throughout the United States, Canada,
Caribbean and Switzerland. The principals of the company have over 40 years
of combined experience in computer systems and software development. They
understand that designing a good computer system starts by listening to the
customer. With a focus on smaller colleges and universities, RJM can provide
a high quality product specifically tailored to meet your needs.
The corporation is owned jointly by Reece J. Schuler and Joanne E. Milburn.
Reece has over 25 years in the computing business. He has held mission-critical
positions in Programming, Sales, and Management with Travelers Insurance,
Northeast Utilities and IBM. Before leaving IBM he was the Market Development
Manager and lead Architect for their GIS group (Geographic Information Systems),
directing support services for a global customer base. He has been working
exclusively in the Higher Education field for the past eleven years as President of RJM Systems, Inc.
Joanne has over 25 years experience in the software development and computing industry.
She was a programmer at Travelers Insurance, a Project Manager at Blue Cross/Blue Shield
of Connecticut, and had six years of consulting experience with assignments in manufacturing,
government, and education. Before starting RJM, she was the Director of Information Services
for the City of Waterbury, Connecticut. In that position she managed 21 people and was
responsible for a $10 Million annual IS budget. She has also been working exclusively in
the Higher Education field for the last fifteen years as CEO of RJM Systems, Inc.
